Well for me, it would be John Lill with Sir Alexander Gibson conducting the SNO on CfP.

Ashkenazy’s self directed account with the Cleveland Orchestra is very good too as I reminded myself this morning.

Far more than merely tolerable (!) Kristian Bezuidenhout with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado. Bezuidenhout plays a copy of a beautifully singing Graf instrument with superb articulation. The orchestra has all the heft, but with added precision that the music demands, by turn bullish, playful; sarcastic, joyous. Anyone who thinks they don't like the instruments for which Beethoven composed his music should hear this recording!

I listened to Brautigan a few days ago and really enjoyed it

Brautigam (sic) happens to be the German for 'bridegroom'.

The Tan/Norrington fortepiano recording is enjoyable but not one I listen to very often.
