Emmanuelle Giuliani, Julien Chauvin et Philippe Venturini élisent la version de référence de La Stravaganza de Vivaldi.

All these "holding posts" seem a bit of an extravaganza, non?

I'm very much looking forward to this one - there aren't many complete versions in the catalogue, so most recordings should get a good hearing. I still hold dear the old Monica Huggett/AAM version, but am sure it will be eclipsed by the later Rachel Podger.

... just looking forward to their pronunciation of Mmes Huggett & Podger

Only one version on the shelves here: a Double Decca with the ASMF under Marriner, mentioning Carmel Kane and Alan Loveday as soloists.
Nice Canaletto of the Rialto on the cover.

The Podger isn’t only wonderful musically but stunningly recorded as well. Try to get it in DSD if your DAC can convert that because it is so realistic sounding

I've just swapped over to the Podger from the Simon Standage/Pinnock, and I agree about both the playing and the sound (I'm getting 24bit/192k from Qobuz into a Sabre ess 2019 DAC monitoring on Quad 2812s), I'll keep this on for a while as I know the Standage - good for its time - but the Podger has something special, can't put my finger on it yet.

                    Excellent!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Oh yes that will be worth waiting for. It'll certainly be Hoogette for Monica. Another favourite is Sire Seemone Rattelle!

Suspecting an innate gallic resistance to a British "winner" I reckon Fabio Biondi and his band are strong contenders. Great sound and exciting performances .
