So glad you revived this thread, Bb. It prompted me to play my Pesek/Czech Phil version which starts with In Nature's Realm. One of my favourite discs which I haven't played for a while. Great sound and perfect backdrop for the summer gloaming.

The Fifth and Sixth are outstanding works - such a shame they seem to appear so seldom in concert. Another recent purchase the Talich 1930s Sixth is also pretty special if very different from the Chung.

I don't have much recorded by Pesek - his Asrael is a pretty searing experience. .
