Let's hope the reviewer doesn't have the same eccentric response as this Amazon customer's extraordinary reaction to the Tallis Scholars' disc.Last edited by Thropplenoggin; 02-06-13, 13:29.It loved to happen. -- Marcus Aurelius

Looking forward to the Byrd BaL.
(I think Alpie is away - his comment on the OP of the Brahms 2 said he had to be away for a day or two. Hope he's enjoying the Sun, and that all is well with him and those he loves.)Numquam Satis!

Yes, I'm looking forward to CD review and the Early Music Show next week. I have several recordings of the Byrd Masses and have finally finished my acquisition of the Complete Byrd Edition by the Cardinals Musick and Andrew Carwood.

No i have collected them one at a time. I am surprised there isn't a complete set. It took me a while to get all of them.

I picked up vols 11 and 13 after a Cardinall's Musick concert in St David's Cathedral - several Byrd discs on my shelves but a tendency to keyboard and consort music... I'm looking forward to learning more about the Mass....

I also have Davitt Moroney's Complete Keyboard set from Hyperion. My CD shelves are quite packed with Byrd's music.
