      Reminds me of the Goons.
      Stand by to repel boarders.
      How do you repel boarders?

Let's face it - they'd have trouble if a paper bag was officiating.

Anyway, LPO/Jurowski will win and I congratulate in advance the dapper Mr Johnson on his selection.

A sweepstake on BaL! We should really do this more often... I'm going for Ancerl/Czech Po as "Johnson's Choice" ( lack of repeat notwithstanding...but BOOO! anyway)

Photo finish: Abbado/BPO, winning by a nose over LPO/Jurowski in the home straight, innit.

                            My bet, too.

(Along with an "each-way" that there's a reference to Karajan being "cloying" at some point in his review!)

It has to be Dawn Approach surely. Odds of 5-4 seem rather generous.

(Might have a Rod Laver on Chopin.)

LSO/Haitink for BaL. Dawn Approach might be the favourite but I like Ruler of the World. Each way bet on Libertarian.
