I've got both concertos with Zehetmair and Rattle conducting the CBSO, with the added bonus of encores with the gorgeous Silke Avenhaus on the piano. That'll do for me! (EMI CDC 555 607-2)

Well damn me, All gone. Sorry.
Just make sure you look under the "New" category rather than the "Used". At least 5 suppliers are offering it for around £4.85 + p&p.

I've yet to catch up with this BaL - were the recordings by Kaja Danczowska and Chantal Juillet mentioned in despatches?

I've downloaded and am listening to Concerto 1 which is stunning a great recording. As other post have said the CD is available from Amazon as well. I downloaded form iTunes. This makes me want to know more about the composer as I know very little about his other works.

Just to say what a brilliant BAL that was! I'm a sucker for Szymanovsky's sound-world anyway, but I thought this was Rob Cowan at his very best. Clear, perceptive, no flannel, just a very expert guide through available versions. How good to hear him away from the tweets and charts and chat of Breakfast.

I've got Zimmermann, Benedetti, Zehetmair, Danczowska and Eschkenazy do I really need Steinbacher too?
