I think think the Riverpeople still list it as a download, which meets the current BaL 'availability' spec.
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Was Arleen Auger mentioned in this BaL? I know hers is only a selection of the Myrthen songs but she has such a superb voice it would have been good to hear one or two extracts.

A very enjoyable BaL - I've only just caught up with it on the iPlayer. I've known, and loved, the Heine & Eichendorff Liederkreise for ages, but recognised very few of these Myrthen songs, so it was a good voyage of discovery. The extracts which caught my attention were Holzmair/Cooper; I followed up with some Spotifying, and very much likes what I heard - Cooper's accompaniments are wonderfully flexible & imaginative, and Holzmair (a singer who I'd never closely listened to) makes a gorgeous sound. There's an Eloquence bargain box of all their Schumann: contents viewable at Presto, which I've ordered.

I think she was, aeoli - IIRC, RW* gave her an honourable mention, but dismissed her reluctantly from his survey to concentrate on the "completists". I don't remember any excerpts being played.

EDIT: * = the other one!

I heard Widmung the other day and realised I don't know the whole set and don't have any recordings. Good to find this BAL still available even though the chosen one is deleted. I have enjoyed the Margaret Price, James Lockhart disc of 7 of the set.
