      Just listened on catchup, yes clearly they were playing the later Budapest version, very strange that they commented on how good the recording was for 1936 and didn't notice that it was in stereo! The comment that the Amadeus disbanded when Peter Shidlof, the violinist, died is also wrong of course, he played the viola.

              Yes, but what a shame the Leipzigers' 88/111 weren't on the radar.....I've adored Brahms' Chamber Music for over half a lifetime, and it is an exceptional record....
