I'm a great fan of The Tackacs. I always go out of my way for these artists.

Would that be by a respectable two metres, BBM?

Just listening to the start of the 10:45 segment (Sorabji, etc). The website says Kenneth Hamilton contributing - of course, talking to McGregor. He's phoning in from abroad (did it say Berlin?) - using a telephone line in very poor quality (although its not breaking up).

I've wondered before that Record Review - a key R3 programme to offer in difficult times (surely?) is so low down the list of BBC Radio priorities that they can't organise (after some weeks) a BAL using the remote technology we see being used for news etc on BBC Radio. But, after some weeks apparently not.

However, an opposing view, in a reality check, I suppose I shouldn't complain. There is probably a risk factor for central studio or technical staff. (For example I do think Evan Davies is establishing himself evermore as ideal as the host of the PM news programme and I think its thoughtful that he now namechecks the technical/studio staff who make the programme possible in the fairly seamless way they achieve - which must carry a risk to them - in the way that there are risks for many workers in essential industries).

Me too, after listening again I decided to buy it but it only seems to be available as a download or very expensive 2nd hand copies.

Surely for the Trout broad-cast they could have fished around to net a better line to poach?
