Just read a really good novel called Tyll about TE - highly recommended. I think the forum historically has had a few pranksters hasn’t it?

No, not for me...it just sounds pedestrian & too literal this way....... much better, more individualised, without the Ein.......
"Drop the Ein, Drop the Ein..."

                Worthy of a petition...!

Yes but if I drop the Ein isn’t that both a implied snub to those who retain it and a waste of Alpie’s time ? One has to be sensitive to these things …
One disadvantage though I have four extra keystrokes when logging in for some reason the stay logged in thingy doesn’t always work.

Might be useful for Forumites that had to make appearances under second names, such as Beef Oven(!)...

It was OK for years, so if it ain't broke...... ah well...choices choices....... I just wish more people would use, shock horror, their own real names...

Social Media + Anonymity has proved a combustible and destructive witches' brew.....

If it was good enough for RSt it’ll do for me! - I’ll toast it - ‘Raise a Stein for the Ein’

A timely thought as I have just had an old fashioned dimpled pint beer glass of Staropramen Premium Czech Lager….

Try this Jansons/LSO live performance from the 1990s. The Battle Scene is one of the best in my opinion. I love the way Jansons slows down before the recap. Not sure if this on disc - I uploaded it after recording the concert from R3

A thread re-born and an opportunity to say how magnificent Beecham and the RPO are in Beecham's last commercial recording, effectively his parting word to an old friend whose music he had championed.

I believe it was also one of Barbirolli’s last recordings!
