I know that the format of building a library irritates and some have turned off from it but the great thing about BaL is that it generates interest in, and gets us listening the works being discussed - how many people here a few weeks ago would have thought have airing K478/K493 from their shelves - such lovely music - but probably much neglected these days! In recent months Schumann 2 had a similar response - they get us all talkng and listening, whether Hippites or Luddites who stick to their love of recordings, probably from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

And I thought the two words were synonyms.

OK EA, think of a suitable name for non-Hippites!

Is that whether they need them or not?

BaL is yet another no go zone for me on Radio 3 but yes I do enjoy reading the feedback here
