fhg: precisely which stately home do you own?? For continuing participation on this forum, and the BaLl section in particular, I thought it was mandatory to have absolutely nowhere (except possibly the loft) to store any more discs!

Or were your inverted commas 'Aesopian'? (I do like that word - been reading too much around DSCH and the USSR recently...)
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

All my CD collection is stored in shelves along one wall of one room in a three-bedroom semi. (Well - apart from the half-dozen or so scattered on the floor of the rooms where I've been playing them and not tidied up ) Books and CDs are my "furnishings" - and I regularly buy shelves and shelving from second-hand shops: lick of paint to fit in with the decor of the room - and ... oooh, look! ... room for a few more!

        Fabulous!

There was (is): I mentioned it on the What are you listening to......thread.
Volume 9 number 6, if you keep them in order!
(Or even if you don't! )

Or coupled with the Mozart Kegelstatt Trio, if you file them under the alphabetically first composer.

Ooh - don't ask me; I've spent most of today catching up with the fact that yesterday wasn't tomorrow.

                        Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future
And time future contained in time past.
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I think that's the one I have, but on Chandos Historical. Do Alto do as good a job on on the remastering? Difficult to imagine them doing better, but if they have, that's an amazing bargain!
