It (all 21 CDs) arrived at lunchtime, from I know not where (but, given the speed of delivery, Dunfermlinenza rather than the somewhat more attractive Piacenza). I'm looking forward to exploring it further - I think that the only duplications are the DSCH symphonies.

Mine is still showing "La spedizione verrà eseguita a breve". Fond memories of Piacenza. Attended a wonderful concert of late Beethoven played by Quartetto Italiano at the town hall there while visiting my girlfriend of the time.

In the Suite it's the third movement: the Adagietto, Caliban.

Just motoring along the French coast, cloudless skies and warmish sunshine, Les Biches providing the ideal soundtrack... and the first opportunity I've had to listen to this movement with fresh ears... I see what you mean about Poulenc tweaking old César's nose, S_A!
