      Did Annie Fischer get a mention ? - her performance along with the very different Argerich, Brendel and Richter are my favourites.

                    Jonathan Freeman-Attwood was impeccable yesterday, on this as with everything else.

                    It was all of a muchness with the Schumann reviewer's perfunctory approach, I fear. Bit of a (metaphorical) Friday afternoon job, I suspect

                      My old music master used to say that you could always tell a Frankl recording from the sound of Daniel Barenboim's mum eating crisps as loudly as possible in the background....
