A lot of the recordings listed here offer one or two Hildegard pieces in a mixed recital so may not be considered on Saturday? Unfortunately, the Stevie wishart recordings (other than the recent Hildegard are download only so I am not interested. I have a few recordings of Hildegard's music, not all satisfactory. I certainly took an instant dislike to Ensemble Belcanto's Ordo Virtutum, which I have played only. The complete Sequentia set looks to me to be the best buy, but at its low price will it have decent notes and above all texts and translations. althopugh SMP ios one opf my least favourite R3 presenters I will listen with ionterest to the programme.

Tess Knighton did something similar in her BAL Dowland Survey on 12 January 2013. His Å“uvre covers, er, 11 CDs

My Hildegard of Bingen library consists of the 8 CD set by Sequentia. I was looking at the weekend at my sister's copy of Fiona Maddocks' book on Hildegard.

Really? I found listings for Volumes 1 and 2 very quickly:

and the Vol. 3 CD can be found with similar ease at amazon.com

I think that I'm also allergic to electro-pop Hildegard versions.

I might also have an allergy to the new age approach, too.

But away from canned lift Music, and incense sticks with pyramids, isn't this FANTASTIC Music!

SM-P at her considerable best, too.

Is it really true that 'women didn't read'?
