No apology needed, Bbm! All part of the banter, doncherknow!

You're going to find it easier once we have the highlighted winner/s in the post #1 listings.

EA - I would be very happy to take on joint highlighting duties! The only trouble is I often give these threads a wide berth till Sunday as I often don't get around to listening to BaL until then.

If I totter by on a Sunday evening and there is no highlighting yet, are you happy for me to invade your OP and do the necessary?

What the world badly needs is an app that seamlessly provides links between BaL recomendations and online retailers bargain price sections........

Amazed nobody has designed one yet !!

I think I once read a review of a disc that contained both Magnificats in question here, and the reviewer opined that the Bach fil bested the pere

There is absolutely no doubt about that, in my mind.

I can't see why Alpensinfonie can't go on line at the end of the show, search Amazon, Presto etc and copy and paste links back on here.

He has a Gofer now, which should help.

One could always check the BaL website, where one would find the recommended recordings for several years worth of BaLs

                          Even that's hit and miss.
