Quite why it isn't more easily available is beyond me.
Careful, though. The image and caption don't match! You could be getting Gunter Wand and the NDR Symphony Orchestra! The review also refers to the Wand.

Surely the VPO/Kleiber should be on Naxos by now?

Oops! Yes - I've deleted my post. It does seem that one of the very finest recordings of this work is not readily available as a single CD.

      Good idea.

Its a great pity that 'An Eroica Project' website is now offline. It was an astonishing compendium of facts and information about the recordings of the work from the first to the then latest complete versions (2012) with various excerpts to illustrate interpretative differences and discussion of musical technical points. it would have saved Sir Nick a hell of a lot of work.
        There's a good reason for 200+ recordings.

This recording was my introduction to the Eroica (I bought the LP from a second hand record shop when I was a teenager).
I guess you did find it on Amazon? Searching for Beethoven 3 Kleiber? The VPO singles (incl. a Jap Remaster) are there, albeit at a special price...

It was the first issue, with a break in the slow movement, which wasn't ideal. A great performance though.
The Decca Ace of Clubs VPO/Kleiber had that same side break. When I listen to the work, I still expect the music to stop just before the opening theme returns.

The sound quality of the VPO/Kleiber was not up to Decca's normal standards of the time, lacking bass. A theory grew suggesting it had been recorded in stereo, but there had been a failure with the right channel - a story later refuted.

Very strange. A minute ago when I first read this message it contained this 'postscript signature':

                  أنا رئيف

which seems to be associated with the 'Syrian Martyrs'.
                  Now it has disappeared!
                  What is going on?

Not at all political - it's a serious and hideous human rights issue.

Political or human, it seems another straightforward musical thread may be in danger of being taken over by axe-grinders of one persuasion or another, which is a needless pity.
