    I have the Bohm and Segerstam. The Bohm for longer than the Segerstam. I think I have had the Naxos since the late 80s. Both great

        A reminder that the BBCSSO performance is being broadcast on Thursday afternoon. I saw it in the concert hall - it was basically a fully-staged performance, just without a proscenium & sets - & very gripping. It will be interesting to see/hear if it is equally gripping on the radio & without the visual drama.

            Indeed, listened and recorded. Compulsive, heady stuff for 100 mins. Useful to have the libretto from the Abbado LP set,
