A: I partially agree - I thought the Perahia extract was not particularly saying "come and buy me" I have Radu Lupu in this, and find it great; no reason to change or augment.

A thoroughly enjoyable BaL to my ears, with Kenneth Hamilton being very generous in extracts from a range of interesting and contrasting performances. I knew several of them but had never heard the Gieseking, a pianist it is always easy to overlook and I shall be getting it pronto.

Cali, Canadian Brass have recorded Carnaval!! A very good one too, especially as a brass quintet.
