Mine was delivered this evening, while I was out. The Yodel delivery driver left it behind the wheelie bin which was not due to be collected on the morrow. By the time it was delivered, shortly before 8.00 pm, it was dark and damp, so not too much risk of theft involved. I got home just after 10.00 pm. Inside the oversized corrugated cardboard packaging was another, somewhat smaller, corrugated cardboard box. I will be leaving it in that, unopened, ready for selling on. As I mentioned before, since I paid just short of £80 for the box I already had, I would be happy to split the difference and let anyone here who missed out have this one for the mean cost of £47.50, plus p&p at cost.

My Szeryng box also arrived today - all fine and dandy.

I bought the box for myself last year and have been enjoying the recordings ever since - the Bach Sonatas and Partitas are a real highlight for me.

This box will be a gift for a close ( musical ) friend who is going through difficult times at the moment.

Ordered Jan 7, still showing Feb 7 to March 8 delivery from Amazon export sales LLC, so I am expecting some kind of update after today.

Cant see any associated message, or issue with the payment method.

Yes - that is indeed, a marvellous performance. I have it in the Schmidt-Isserstedt Beethoven symphonies set - which, apart from the violin concerto, also has the piano concertos with Wilhelm Backhaus. Surely Decca (or Universal, or whoever) would clean up, if they re-released this venerable edition.
