The only slight problem is that if it goes out for delivery tomorrow, I will have to try and make arrangements with neighbours to take delivery. I'm off to St Peter's, Eaton Square, London for a Lunchtime Beebie-freebie (Masses by Pickard and Vaughan-Williams), to be broadcast during Afternoon on 3, Monday 11th February. I need to get the 09:32 bus to Hyde Park Corner, arriving at around 11:30. then queue in the cold until 13:15, when the doors are due to open. Ticket validation starts at 12:45, so I might hop off at High Street Kensington and grab a free coffee and Guardian from the Waitrose there before continuing the journey 'Inside Number 9' bus.

Szeryng arrived yesterday!

But I didn't retrieve it from my Burgundy refuse bin until the early hours of the morning, having mistaken the note from Yodel for a flyer. I was about to shred it when I discovered it wasn't but a helpful note as to where the deliverer had left it.

Having got through customs a couple of days ago, mine seems to have got stuck at the Heston depot. Still down for delivery next Wednesday. Oops. It has now headed off to Hatfield, i.e. away from me. Such is modern logistics. Looks like it might be delivered by Royal Mail, which will mean a trip to the sorting office it arrives earlier than its due date of next Wednesday. I have a funeral to attend in Axminster on Monday and 2 concerts, lunchtime and early evening, on Tuesday.

Re Szerying box - I hope it comes in and you don't get charged a lot for customs.

I would love to have had that at the $12 price or even the £15+ a tad price including p&p.

Now it's just under £80 from am.uk and around $112 from the US.

Ah well, win some, lose some. I've still got a few other boxes to get through.
