I made the mistake, yesterday, of ordering it from Music Magpie via the amazon.co.uk Marketplace. I had to pay 38p more.

Can't you cancel the order? Do you subscribe Which? They have good advice on these things. What about asking MM to price match their direct price?

I’ve just received my credit card statement for my download purchases from Classics Select. Including the transaction fees for dollars to sterling, for 17 x $0.75 download sets, I paid £10.28

I expect mine will be more - I downloaded many of those collections, but I'm not complaining. I got some at the later price of 60 cents.

Are there any so far, which you particularly like(d)? Currently I'm trying to find ways to incoporate them into music servers - with moderate success.

Not a 'giveaway' bargain but a reasonable price for 33CDs of prime live Birgit Nilsson. A set I can imagine being deleted very quickly:

If you are quick, you might be able to get the DG Paul Badura-Skoda 90 anniversary boxed set of 20 CDs for just over £22 (including 'free' p&p) from here.

Too late now. The lowest price has nearly doubled. I hope someone here was able to take advantage of the lower price.

Thanks Vints and Bryn. Ordered - just under £26 inc p&p. It looks a real cracker!

Something I found rather strange about the listings is that both the uk and German sites had two very different prices for Prime listings, the headline one and the top of the "New" section.

Couple of big box bargains at Amazon.de.

There's also the Stokowski box for around £30. Is the countdown on for our European bargains?

There's also this Philips Classics box - analogue - which I passed over several times before - https://www.amazon.de/Philips-Classi...FAE10XFEM9CM0V 34.99 Euros - probably about £30-35 delivered to UK. From what I can see, there's some quite nice stuff in there - including some pieces and performances which I don't have already. 50 CDs

More expensive is this Henryk Szerying box - https://www.amazon.de/Szeryng-Comple...8BGHZ60MBHBVRT 44 CDs

The big box of Handel Oratorios from a year or more back is here - https://www.amazon.de/Die-Gro%C3%9Fe...8BGXZTV00WRDCD 51.65 Euros 41 CDs

There is a box of Deutsche Harmonia Mundi recordings - might be of interest to some - around £70.
                              https://www.amazon.de/Deutsche-Harmo...QWFNEJ3NVQKFJT 99CDs

Here is the Stokowski box - https://www.amazon.de/Complete-Recor...ords=Stokowski 30.70 Euros 23 CDs.

Some of the boxes - such as the Conductors box mentioned earlier - have effectively a lot of duplicates and hardly anything new for those of us who already have sizeable colletions.

Of these - at the prices shown - the Handel and the Philips box perhaps have the greatest interest for me. The Handel would be largely new to me - and in what I believe to be good recordings. The Philips is yet another collection, but there are performance/recordings which are not otherwise in my library.

There are several boxes by Bernstein - both of the Sony/CBS sets - in the boxes which some here don't like - and the DG collection.
