Has a listen this morning, very interesting, and definitely one to listen to again.
Is the Tippett Piano Concerto really in the set, as the cover suggests?
Interesting choice, as it's not in the repertoire of many pianists.
Where and when was the recording made?

            Many thanks.

Arnold Cooke piano sonatas and Stephen Dodgson string quartets for me.

Thanks for noting this - a particularly treasurable bargain is the Barbirolli Viennese Album, a 2 CD set for the absurd price of £0.99: http://www.duttonvocalion.co.uk/prod...prod=CDSJB1024

Agree entirely about the Barbirolli album also includes his terrific stereo Schubert 9 with the Halle that was on EMI .

I should also put in a word for the Griller Quartet recordings and the Kathleen Long Mozart record .

Is the postage charge a flat rate, or per CD? £2.25 for 3 CDs - looks like 75p/CD - so should I order more, or fewer?
I think I have some of the current offerings already.

I paid £3.50 for 8CDs if that helps.

Delighted to take delivery of Elgar Sym 1 and 2, Staatskapelle/Barenboim, from the river people today, at a bargain price of £14 06, if bought together. Sym No 1, £11 07 and
Sym 2, £2 99. Don't know whether this is a temporary offer but I responded instantly to the temptation!

Thanks for the tip on the Elgar 2. I combined it with another temptation:
                            Bruckner: Symphonies 1-9 Michael Gielen

I recently had an email about some changes at Berkshire Record Outlet (USA) - https://www.broinc.com/index.php

I'm not sure if their stuff is competitive nowadays - it certainly used to be, and it was a great "little" store not far from Stockbridge, MA - in Lee. Sheffield isn't too far away either. It's worth a trip to that area to see the Rockwell Museum.

Currently they seem to have a lot of Lyrichord CDs - I don't know much about them. http://lyrichord.com/

Thanks for that, especially as you appear to have linked to the best current price.

Oh, and good to see the 8th is a previously unreleased recorded performance as I already have that used a fill-up to Feldman's Coptic Light.
