Amazing - my package has arrived too. I ordered on Monday 23rd. Actually can't be quite sure when the box arrived, as other things came in the same consignment, but it's still pretty impressive. If the post people kept things together they would have arrived on Wednesday.

Looks as though at present it's worth comparing continental Europe sites with UK ones. We've noted amazon.it with some splendid bargains recently, but even if the Euro price is similar to the UK price, at the current exchange rates of around 1 euro approx £0.8 = approx 81p, then providing the postage etc. is not too much savings can be made. One example is the Julian Bream box set - http://www.amazon.it/Julian-Bream-Co...s=julian+bream - there are no doubt others.

Perhaps Karl Richter's Bach cantatas won't find favour nowadays - but it's only 37.45 euros - http://www.amazon.it/Bach-Cantate-Jo.../ref=pd_cp_m_0
(27 CDs)
The listing of the Brahms edition (msg 4617) is here - but it's still difficult to figure who's playing what - http://www.prestoclassical.co.uk/r/DG/4778183

But the Italian price is peanuts indeed.
