There's this collection of guitar music - http://www.selections.com/classical-...ion-25cds.html I don't know what's on it, or who is performing, but it seems possibly good for guitar enthusiasts.

There is a set of Nielsen symphonies conducted by Kuchar, and some other choral/vocal music, such as by Monteverdi and Palestrina - all at rather low prices.
I rather regret not having put an order in earlier - as it now looks as though this might be out of stock at Selections. The price then was about £25 and it is in their brochure. I'm assuming they won't get new stock, though it could be worth checking with them - stock would seem to be available elsewhere. The cheapest supplies currently seem to be at amazon market place sellers - http://www.amazon.co.uk/music/dp/B002HNAAQC where the prices are around £36 including postage. Unfortunately this set does not feature on Spotify so I was not able to sample it, or evaluate it. If anyone did buy it, then perhaps they could report back as to whether it was worthwhile.

There are some other guitar sets at Selections which might be of interest - for example music by Barrios - http://www.selections.com/barrios-c-...itar-6cds.html and Paganini - http://www.selections.com/paganini-c...usic-3cds.html

Using the search terms "classical guitar" in the music section gives this - http://www.selections.com/catalogsea...ssical+guitar+

I think the Kuchar Nielsen set is still available. I've not checked the Monteverdi and Palestrina which I mentioned earlier.

I've been watching that one for over a year, hoping it will go under a tenner. If it does, I'll buy it.

Opera Baroque - Luxurious Limited Edition Box Set 42 discs from Harmonia Mundi

Cheapest I have seen is £48 from AmazonUK (originally listed at just under £47 and, judging by a number of recent new issue boxes, AmUK's initial listing price is often revised upwards by around 20% before the issue date is reached).

Looks a winner if the transfers are good robk - Grumiaux' Beethoven sonatas with Haskil are wonderful, his Mozart is in the same league, give it a whirl
