This set seems to include Blu-Ray Audio discs, as well as the CDs. One of the reviews seems to confirm that it is the "deluxe" set which is on offer at a low price. I've just ordered it anyway.

After agonizing about it for a few weeks I bought Reinhard Goebel/Musica Antiqua Koln box, 75 CDs, for $140.

            You might be tempting me!

Let us know how you get on - the high spots etc. Perhaps I'll put it on my Christmas wish list.

Though I already have many discs from that boxed collection, the current amazon.co.uk price of £108.80 for 75 CDs does look attractive. No signed art cards, however.

What I like about bargains, apart from the price, is that I am enticed into acquiring recordings of unfamiliar repertoire which I might not otherwise venture into. I hardly knew Clementi Piano Sonatas and have enjoyed investigating a well-priced download (3 hours of music for a fiver) from Presto, vividly played on fortepiano by Constantino Mastroprimiano.

Clementi - The Complete Sonatas Volume 4. Brilliant Classics: 94024. Buy download online. Constantino Mastroprimiano (fortepiano)

This set arrived earlier - "Deluxe Edition" as promised, as in 3 x CDs, 1 x Blu-Ray Audio, 1 x Blu Ray Video. Fine recording (LSO St Luke's), almost too fine in B/R Audio as it picks up the occasional (but not distracting) vocalisation from Zimerman, who is in sparkling and, so far, unidiosyncratic form. LSO/Rattle attentive accompanists. For the current Amazon price (£11.99) a real bargain.

Presto was charging a lot more.
I had about 3 of the discs so not much duplication

Mine was delivered a few minutes ago. Very impressive presentation with one of the two Blu-ray discs being Audio only (hi-res stereo and surround) and Video, respectively.

I noticed this box set of the Italian Quartet's recordings on Amazon a few days ago. Can't find it on Amazon right now, but Presto also have it at a reduced price.

I'm slightly tempted, though need to check whether I've aleady got most of their recordings - https://www.prestomusic.com/classica...rima-la-musica

The set does include some unusual ones, though.

One of the best String Quartet bargains I got recently from Presto was the Complete Schubert from the Diogenes. https://www.prestomusic.com/classica...tring-quartets

Along with the Audite box, this looks like a fine supplement to add to the now no longer in the catalogue Philips, Decca, and DG box.

As a result of searching for details of the Italian Quartet set I discovered that Presto is currently having a box set sale.

One of interest to me is Sir Colin Davis Anthology - which seems good value. I know it's not the "best" in all versions, but I think it would be good to have - with 8 SACDs, 4CDs and one DVD.

Sir Colin Davis Anthology. LSO Live: LSO0766. Buy 8 SACDs + CD + DVD Video or download online. Ben Heppner (Enée), Michelle DeYoung (Didon), Petra Lang (Cassandre), Sara Mingardo (Anna), Peter Mattei (Chorèbe), Stephen Milling (Narbal), Kenneth Tarver (Iopas), Toby Spence (Hylas), Alan Ewing (Priam) London Symphony Orchestra, Sir Colin Davis

There may be other interesting boxes if anyone cares to search. There are some Icon issues - though I may have those already.
