Looks very good. Not sure if it includes all the "best" of Colin Davis's recordings of some of the works, but with 28 CDs and some of them for sure worth having seems a very good deal.

Worth buying just for the Haydn and Sibelius. I was very excited until I realised I had nearly all of it, the one exception being the Beethoven...

Not dissimiliar here - I’d be buying it for 4 Haydn Syms - the rest are duplicates!

A stunning bargain, for sure, but alas - nearly all duplications.

Ordered, just a little duplication for me,only Berlioz and a couple of Mozart Symphonies I think
Perhaps this is the Sibelius set to win me over.
              Thanks Parry1912

I’m interested in the Mozart, the Haydn and the Sibelius, and I probably don’t have the Beethoven either. Pity there’s no Mozart 25 - but I may have already got that. Not quite sure which versions are in the box - will have to wait and see. Davis did some of the works in the box several times, and with different orchestras. I expect it’ll be good whatever ...

I believe somebody has already drawn our attention to this organization, but this

seems to have many bargains to offer.

(I'm surprised to find myself still on the forum on All Saints' Day - I had expected to withdraw overnight as gracefully as you all withdrew from a certain other entity).

Are these mp3s or something else? This looks very like the site I noticed last year, but I had the impression that it had gone under. I have a lot of those Bach Guild recordings already - many of them originally from Vanguard. The mp3s aren't great, but the music often is, and some of the performances are well worth having. Some of those were issued on LP a long while ago, and sounded decent at the time. I'll review the latest offerings to see if there's anything I missed from before.

I don't think the B word is going to apply to the operation of this site - I hope note.

I'm having trouble finding out which symphonies are included - can anybody point me in the right direction? It certainly sounds like a real bargain!
