So if you wanted to obtain some otherwise unavailable recordings by Markevitch*, Dervaux, Inghelbrecht, Rosenthal, Désormière, and that vintage, now is an opportunity. Such a pity that Mackerras did not get to record the whole of Juliette, though I treasure the less than perfect Dolby B cassette recordings I have of the Radio 3 broadcast of Julietta in Engish from E.N.O. with him conducting, a production which I also attended.
