Let's hope you get all 8 CDs. Please let us know. As mentioned a while ago, my box was lacking CD 3. I am still awaiting notification by Amazon of dispatch of a replacement set.

Received this morning. Normally it would go straight on the 'unplayed CDs shelf' still in it's wrapper but heeding Bryn's warning, I opened it. All CDs present and correct!

I will bet it won't. John Reed's excellent book has translations but only the first line in German + the tune in notation. It's slightly annoying that he didn't include full German texts - a space issue no doubt since there are over 500 pages even without them. I already had translations in the Richard Wigmore book (now out of print). These are the same as came with the Hyperion Complete Songs Box.

My copy (along with two other boxes) arrived today from Am.es. I placed the order on 21 May which is extremely good going. Delighted with the service and my only niggle is that one of the boxes (not the Toscanini) - and the site makes no mention of this - turned out to be 2x4cd jewel cases in a thin cardboard slipcase (Arrau/Chopin). OK if space is not at a premium but in my case it is. The same thing happened in a consignment from Am.it - the Sinopoli 'box' and two Accardo sets.

Knowledge of the bargains now available at Am.es is pretty widespread - here is a taster.
