As a Lieder completist I recently got this 2CD issue of Wolf's complete Mörike settings. It's the only complete recording by one singer - usually they are divided male/female. It cost me £3.58 + postage via Amazon from Music Magpie.
It occurred to me that, having a few years ago sold a small consignment of superfluous CDs to them, it was theoretically possible to buy back one of one's own CDs. I won't be sending them any more. At the prices they pay nowadays it is hardly worth the effort. Our son recently gave up CDs and converted his entire collection of several hundred into a Spotify playlist (there's an app that does it). He kept a couple of favourites and investigated flogging the rest but it wouldn't have been worth it and they went to the charity shop.Comment
