Is that the mega-box, only with the literature only in French?

‘Mozart en Francais’ has Shot up by over a hundred quid.

I’m now absolutely certain the deal won’t be honoured.

A lot of people will have had the same idea as Bry, I reckon (and why not?).

However when I looked at am.uk not too long ago I saw a price of under £150 - which was a lot less than I paid for my consignment from (IIRC) jpc.de some time back.

That’ll slash your market barrow profits, bryn!

Though not dispatched as yet, the latest estimated delivery date range given is "Arriving 8 Feb - 2 Apr". So, while the transaction is not yet completed, the outlook is a little more promising. Still not crossing my fingers.

I seem to recall this was the tale with the Strauss box: delivery date set for a month ahead, the. Extended, then cancelled.

                Oh, well:where’s the popcorn?

Not sure if this is a bargain or not.

16 CD box of Massenet operas from amazon.de - marketplace sellers have it for around 22 Euros (16 CDs)

The am.de price is about 33 Euros currently.

... back down to some £60.

                    'Arriving 12 Feb - 4 April', apparently...

Now, if it does arrive - who should I give my spare copy to?

Scrowaczewski box at a good price on market place.

Just spotted this at Presto - seems a good price.

Opéra baroque from Harmonia Mundi. Is this a good box to have?

I saw it at am.de earlier today for around 77 Euros, but this is cheaper for the UK at £50.73 today. I'm not sure whether the additional postage for the box will push the price up above other competitive prices - but probably won't.

An exceptional bargain, I paid a lot more a year or two ago.

The bargains have been bought and are no longer available - in all likelihood by forum members who saw your post. Sit back and wait for them to thank you for the heads up?

                            Yes. Very good indeed.

The set of Kathleen Battle Sony recordings might be good at am.de for around 19 Euros - though I don't know if the postage will make it uncompetitive. It might be available more cheaply from marketplace sellers - the same comments re postage could apply. https://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_sb_no...en+Battle+SOny However it's not too much more expensive at am.uk

                              It's also here at Presto - https://www.prestomusic.com/classica...ony-recordings

I was unsure of this, but sampling some of the recordings on Qobuz suggests that it could be a good buy for anyone who likes beautiful singing - though some might find the singer's wobble a bit offputting over time.

Seconded. Just as long as the genre itself is for you, as it is for me.
