The van Immerseel Beethoven cycle is a real bargain - and even cheaper than when I bought it for about £17 a few years back!
To my chagrin, now that I've got my Laptop back, the Sibelius Box (which I've had my eye on for some time) has gone back to "reasonable" prices from the bargain of #7179

Some of us still nurse bitter memories of that Strauss box, from last year......

I am amazed at the number of retailers who do actually honour the prices which are sometimes so obviously mistakes. Why should we be bitter if they don't - msg 7188 - or don't deliver after multiple attempts?

Which Bach edition is this one - is there a performer listing somewhere? I can’t keep up with all these editions, but I recall that “this” one might have had a very warm recommendation somewhere.
I have the Brilliant box set from years ago, and a reasonable number of other Bach CDs. Do I really need more? Probably not, but that won’t stop me!

I think it was still reasonably cheap, though it’s not impossibly expensive at am.uk or presto-classical. There’s a much more expensive set available on am.uk - around £500 - but is it better? I wasn’t setting out to buy more Bach at this time, but maybe you are nudging me in that direction.

Without being able to see other than a broad brush overview of the sets, it's really rather hard to compare them and to know the contents and the performers. Although the am.it offering seems best at present there's perhaps no need to rush in as other suppliers do have the sets and the prices are not that much higher (such as twice as expensive ....) and it would be better to be sure of what one is buying. Even presto, which is often excellent at providing fleshed out detail, seems to only be providing basic information for this/these sets - or have I missed something?
