Re the Klemperer, also on order, I did a video off-air transfer to DVD of the Omnibus: Otto Klemperer documentary, yesterday. An affectionate and astute profile with attractive archive footage.
I'm guessing mono rather than stereo. Perhaps not always a problem if the sound quality is reasonable, or the performances outstanding, but more information would be helpful.

Dave, the Membran link gives recording dates. Anything before 1958 is bound to be mono, I would think. 1958 onwards is anybody's guess, though BBC Radio 3 did not start regular broadcasts in stereo until autumn 1962.
Previous issues of the Beethoven Symphonies from Vienna have been mono, and all the Klemperer on Medici Masters are mono apart from an LvB3 recorded in Stockholm in 1958.
