Seems odd - I'm listening to the songs again - and the link which appears is definitely the same as the one I posted. I do agree though, that trying to use the link doesn't work. Maybe Qobuz don't maintain their own links well enough.

Technical problem? Maybe - but it is an issue - which I can't figure out right now. If I find a link which works I'll post it.

That very disc, and the Hyperion recording of the Piano Concerto (coupled with the - really quite terrible - Korngold left-hander) were lent* to me by a friend only last month. It's lovely Music: sort-of Delius' Paris composed by a pupil of Strauss, it occurred to me. Really enjoyable.

      * - I have returned them both, since.

Jorge Bolet claimed that it was his favourite piano concerto. Hard to believe but there you go. That said, it is an attractive work, but "favourite"?

Are there lots of good parts for Harp(o)?

I was referring to the link to the CD of Marx songs, which I've just cracked - see next line.

Maybe this link direct to the album will do it - http://open.qobuz.com/album/3279799042035

I think trying to link direct to tracks might cause some problems.

Try this link as well, which should link to Marx piano music - http://open.qobuz.com/album/0095115147924

Also this http://open.qobuz.com/album/0761203785728 Trio Phantasie and Lieder
and this http://open.qobuz.com/album/5410939737826 which should lead to his violin sonata.

In this instance absolutely - there are many works by EWK that I enjoy listening to, but that concerto (IIRC, one of the few of Wittgenstein's commissions that he actually played and approved of!) is an absolute ... ?turkey? (not really apposite - I like turkey, and, indeed, Turkey).

Actually, yes - but I couldn't hear anything written for chains: perhaps the percussionist lost them?

I do remember driving once to Germany at night, but can't actually now remember whether it was to Dusseldorf (perhaps most likely) or Dortmund. If the latter I would probably have gone through Bochum.

Steven Sloane and the Bochum Symphony Orchestra interpreted the piece, but the point was to change it.

                                However.
