Of the bargain sets they stand out as the most idiomatic, to my ears. Indeed, they hold their own against the full price alternatives. If these are to be your introduction to the Bartok string quartets I don't think you can go far wrong. The recordings date from 1993 and 1994, by the way.Last edited by Bryn; 04-12-11, 22:39.
