I have just noticed that by opting for the QOBUZ download one does miss out on disc 14, a DVD of Mahler 4, Christmas Day 2014. It does not appear to have been posted on YouTube either. This is a different performance to that due to be released on SACD soon.

I have a basic 320kbps mp3 streaming subscription. Others here use "Sublime" I think. They would be able to offer advice on that option. You do not need to subscribe to download the Jansons/RCO set at the price quoted. You might have to email QOBUZ to enable downloads to the UK. It's a couple of years since I first downloaded from QOBUZ, so they may have dropped the need to email them for UK downloads.
I purchased this for £15.99 via Qobuz UK. That's the cost of just a couple of discs at the usual price!

Though that one appears to be a DVD.

Which, that with Dorothea Röschmann, which I see listed as an SACD, or that from last Christmas, which is the DVD in the 14 disc boxed set?

I'm only basing this on what I've found ...

            Gustav Mahler
Symphony No. 4 in G major (DVD)
            Anna Prohaska, soprano

            so probably not the SACD.

Yes, that's the 'bonus' DVD in the boxed set. It is of a performance given on 25 December 2014. The SACD with Dorothea Röschmann as soloist is due for release next month.

I think it's been featured before (don't have time to search the thread!), but I'm not sure the John Ogdon icon box has been as cheap as this previously? At £12.65 + free postage (if you can find more to buy to get over Amazon's £20 threshold) for 17 CDs, this seems like a terrific bargain so I have duly ordered and look forward to investigating a pianist I know little of.

£13.91 with P&P is still a bargain. Some fantastic performances in this box, Rolmill - I'm sure you'll love it.

I would have bitten but for the fact that four of the discs I already own via the 70th Birthday Edition that came out a few years back. Still a great bargain!

They look like Love Hearts (anyone remember those? Fizzy sweets with little Romantic messages on, like "You? Do me a Favour!", "Tried Using Clearasil?", "Even if I said 'Yes', My Guide Dog Would Object". Or was that just the packets I bought?)
