Probably takes a few more days for delivery but the offer is several pounds less than the competitors.
Real joy when the much discussed Schoenberg, Berg & Webern/Sinopoli, 8CD set, arrived this morning, debited at £3 66, post free. Motivated me to go and cut the grass without much ado - and even the sun shone bright!

I rather got the impression that Stan S had ordered the Sinopoli as a good value way of encouraging himself to get those garden chores done.
Personally I only do the washing up with Webern spinning these days.........I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

For the information of those who have bought the Sinopoli box: CD 5 is mislabelled on both sleeve and in booklet.
Berg's Der Wein is actually track 13 while the Three Orchestral Pieces are tracks 14 - 16.
Those not familiar with the music will wonder what's going on! Haven't found any more errors as yet."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink

For all that, I had to concentrate so hard on what I was listening to, I got to know the music much better than I might otherwise !I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
