A friend has sent me the attached which he has recently posted onto the Mahler Board and I thought it might interest some of my fellow music fans on here:
For users of iTunes *UK* (not sure about the US iTunes) there are some fantastic bargains I just spotted.
Virtually all the Decca Classics series listed here are £4.49, including the multi-CD sets.
So feel free to enjoy Knappertsbusch's stereo Parsifal and Jochum's Meistersinger and others:
I haven't checked all of them though.
I also downloaded Jessye Norman's famous Four Last Songs, Lupu's Mozart, Kovacevich's Bartok concertos, and Solti's CSO Mahler 1 (to keep the post on topic...).
Sadly Richter and Schreier's Winterreise + D840 sonata isn't reduced.
