Ah, whale meat again. Back in the bad old days a local vet I used to hang out with used to buy it to feed the dogs and cats in the veterinary hospital he ran. He served some whale steaks up for his guests at one of his dinner parties, only advising them of what they had just partaken of at the end of the meal. One of he older guests recalled eating whale during WWII. As I say, that was in the bad old days (of the mid-'60s).
