Out of interest, I wandered into Gramex this afternoon, and there was a young lady there asking for advice. She wanted to know where to go to buy what she called a gramophone, as a gift for a friend. She claimed quite genuinely that her friend wanted to be able to play LPs, but she herself had never seen one!
The owner pointed to a heap on the floor !
