    Someone on Amazon quotes:
    "A fine Barshai memento" "Unmissable"
ROB COWAN in Gramophone - January 2016
Curating all this will take some time…

I do wish these were in FLAC but 320 mp3 is just about OK for historical broadcasts

A favourite singer of Colin Davis, whose Covent Garden Brünnhilde she was in the 70s. She also appears as Cassandra in his recording of Les Troyennes.

His live Mahler 2 on BBC Legends is very special - far more energetic than the RCA version (if less well recorded)

Never before released historical live classical music performances on CD, DVD and download.

              Presto are charging over £100.
PS to above. No more downloads there. Just a link to Amazon for the CDs

It's probably good that the web shop is closed. I shared earlier that some of the Klemperer material I downloaded from there had the wrong files and the same was true for some of the Beecham I bought. As far as I've been able to tell, the BBC Legends files were OK but I don't think ICA is really competent to operate in this space...

I'm very glad I go the 20CD Rudolf Barshai download for only £7.50. There are some very worthwhile items in there. Even though the CDs are not that expensive I probably wouldn't have bought them. Out of curiosity I checked back to the confirmation email which ica sent in November and interestingly the link to the zip download is still there described as never expiring. I clicked and the download (via wetransfer) still worked.

One drawback (interesting challenge?) with these large downloads, apart from actual errors, is rejigging the tracks into more usable folders and also maybe editing the metadata.
