In 2 & 3, I would commend the above. Contains gasp-inducing moments aplenty - and for the right reasons, too - and the slow movements are moving without ever becoming sickly saccharine. The sound is truly impeccable despite its age. Available new for £4.46 from the Marketplace.
In 1, Zimerman's recent outing on DG. In 4, Lugansky. It loved to happen. -- Marcus Aurelius

Yevgeny Sudbin has just announced in romantic terms the advent of his new recording of No 1:
https://www.facebook.com/notes/yevge...51703830265330"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Yuja Wang has recorded the Second Concerto (& PagRhap) with Abbado, but not, as far as I can see, the Third.
And she's Chinese.
I think Abbado has recorded the Third Concerto only with Lazar Berman.Numquam Satis!

Earl Wild nr 1
Richter nr 2
Volodos with Levine DGG nr 3
Michelangeli nr 4
All previously mentioned except the Volodos, which deserves a place.
I saw him doing it in London with the Philharmonia and Ashkenasy conducting in 1999. superb.
Also deserving mention Jorge Bolet in nr 3.
