A while ago the idea of a MB "Exchange /swap/sale " area was discussed, which might be useful for duplications.

Though frankly Jochum's Bruckner could have been safely left out of his icon box as it has been reissued so many times...

Seriously though, Barbirollians, I understand your frustration at seeing desirable reissues only available in large boxes. I suppose that's a penalty of being a "serious" collector - but isn't the hunt for such performances (in sales, charity shops, e-bay etc) part of the joy of collecting (and increases the pleasure when you eventually find it)?
As it happens I have my eye on this box - I have very few of his recordings. For someone who only possesses one of the Dresden Bruckner symphonies (no.7) and none of his Beethoven or Brahms, would you recommend this set?

If so, I think I will invest - it can be had for £28 currently at Presto, which looks like a terrific bargain to me.
The Beethoven and Brahms are for me ahead of his other sets on DG (both) and Philips (Beethoven).
