Just enjoyed a wonderfully played (and recorded) Vallee d'Obermann by Pierre-Laurent Aimard on a DG album called The Liszt Project, which also includes music by Scriabin, Berg and others.
I wasn't too keen on his earlier CDs of Ravel and Schumann but he seems to have been revitalised by his move to DG.
A friend of mine used to say this is the only classical work with a dog breed in the title...
