Rattle with Berlin Phil really does it for me, my oldest M2 is the studio Tennstedt and the Kubelik M2, i bought the Klemperor 17 years ago when i was 20 but no longer have it.

I still like the CBSO Rattle not least because of Arleen Auger, but it took me a while to adjust to some of his tempi as my previous regular listen was the CSO Abbado. There are many Resurrections on my shelves and agree that one of the best is the Lucerne Abbado but two Stokowski versions are very goodas is the Walter and the LSO Bernstein.

Walter- just unimpeachable
Barbirolli - yes the Stuttgart RSO ensemble is far from perfect but what a passionate performance
Jurowski - blazing apocalyptic stuff
Nott - cooler, transparent and yet with great cumulative force
Klemperer 1951 - fiercely driven in parts yet with the greatest of Urlicht's from Ferrier.
