Ilya Gringolts et al in Schumann chamber music

Can anyone comment on the quality of these recordings by Gringolts and colleagues on Onyx?

I am really looking at the piano trios and violin sonatas sets, not the string quartets.

Didn't Gringolts record a concerto disc with Itzhak Perlman conducting a few years ago? I bought it and was quite disappointed with both the violin playing and the conducting. No sparkle at all so lost interest in his playing.
