Just a minor word of warning - this magnificent set comes in a ludicrously oversized packaging with a hardback book of photos & multi-language guff and a slipcase!

      Lovely performances tho

Indeed, but sufficiently substantially constructed to be far less annoying than the Naive re-issues in this format:

Yes, and one thing about the packaging I find strange is that the left hand (inside front cover) and right hand (inside back cover) CDs have finger-access identations to ease out the discs - but there is a plastic rim which renders them useless... Great set though.

Thanks for the this reply. I missed this one and I am a huge Argerich fan. So it's off to Amazon for me. I don't care so much about the packaging but the music.

I do rather hate it when you have all this over excessive bumpf in a recording. So uncessary, imo.

I'll not be junking my box. It maybe (is) non-standard but it is also of substancial construction. I store most of my sizable boxed sets separately from the single and up to 4 disc sets anyway.

Not so. Admirers of her live recordings at the Concertgbouw will already have this.

How embarrassing - I have got that and had forgotten all about it . I only remembered her K453 and K466 recordings.

She is slated to perform K271 with Abbado in three concerts this autumn - now that is something I should love to hear recorded .
