But can I enter a plea for Bryden Thomson's London on Chandos? Not all his cycle are recommendable, but this is perhaps the best. I have most well known versions of the symphony and this is my favourite alongside Elder's.
If only the scherzo part of the scherzo(nocturne)was a teeny bit quicker.
