That's what you get for shopping with Amazon!

(although I have bought stuff from Amazon - not a lot - I've never had an email from them. Perhaps I ticked the 'I don't want any emails' box or something)

I also get similar offerings from Amazon.com, Amazon.fr and Amazon.es.

That's what I get for trying to fuel the worldwide economic recovery with no thought for myself!

I don't know - perhaps there isn't one. I don't remember if I did such a thing or not - it just seemed a possible reason why I don't get emails from them. I do get 'suggestions' when I go on to the site.

i once phoned the Virgin Media helpline and was put on hold. They asked me what kind of music I would like to listen to while I waited, so I said Classical.

                    The played "Moon River".

I've had many 'suggestions' from different sites, including some on the internet. But I never take them up - well almost never.

Amazon has offered many opportunities for chuckles with their "recommendations": to this day I can't work out how buying a score of Mahler 7 suggests that I'm in desperate need of red-dye hairspray! If I actually used the stuff, I'd look even more like a billiard ball than I do now!

(Not a "ferneyhype" - this actually happened!!!)

Well YOU did ask for it

I wonder what they would play if you asked for Gagaku ?

                            Yuk indeed !

I got fed up with receiving this sort of junk email from Am , so changed the default settings and now I rarely get them anymore. If you go into your Am account and scroll down to settings, you will find ' Email preferences and notifications '. Click on this and you will probably find that the default activated is ' Send me notifications from the following categories ' and every damn box is ticked from ' Appstore ' to ' Watches ' ! Change according to choice or select ' Do not send me marketing email ' instead and save.
