Did anyone receive the Friday afternoon CD Review newsletter on the 28th April?

I didn't get mine and I wondered if, like the texts of the 'winner' of Bal, it had been discontinued to save the BBC a fiver a week.

No. I don't even know what this is. Is it a text message or an email?

It's an e-Mail sent by the Beeb, Dave, to give a little extra information about its weekly programmes than what is printed in Radio Times.

You have to sign up for them: if you're interested, this is the relevant link:
Sign up for newsletters from BBC Radio 3 - Radio 3 broadcasts classical music, jazz, world music, new music, arts programmes and drama. BBC Radio 3 is the home of the Proms and supports composers, writers and new young performers

I do remember it not arriving a few years ago and Andrew McGregor apologised on air saying the person who typed them had been ill. However, in these cost-conscious times...

Just tried to subscribe and got a message 'There has been a problem with your subscription to the newsletter'. Looks ominous.

Nor did I and also the usual Live in Concert Newsletter landing in my mail box on a Friday teatime failed to arrive too.

The Live in Concert did eventually get sent to me at 8.30am this morning though.
